Trent's Journey: From Philosophy to Architecture
Trent's path to becoming an architect was far from conventional, but his diverse experiences and unique background have shaped him into a truly exceptional professional. After obtaining his first degree in philosophy and religion at Transylvania University, Trent embarked on a journey that led him through various industries before ultimately finding his passion in architecture.
His early career took him into the realms of professional services, working for prestigious companies like Equitable Life and Smith-Kline Beechem. These experiences exposed him to the meticulous world of corporate operations and imparted invaluable skills in problem-solving and attention to detail.
Trent's restless spirit yearned for something more, something that would allow him to blend his analytical mindset with his creative inclinations. Recognizing this, he made the conscious decision to pursue architecture studies at the University of Kentucky. It was during these years that Trent's true potential began to flourish. Fueling his ambition, Trent went on to complete his Masters at the University of Houston College of Architecture where he graduated top of his class, and was honored with the College medal.
Trent has had the opportunity to work for some of the most prominent architectural firms in the country, including Helmuth Obata Kassabaum, Wilson Architectural Group, Tuck-Hinton Architects, Gresham Smith, and Interior Design Services, Inc. Each of these experiences has broadened his horizons, exposed him to a myriad of architectural styles, and allowed him to collaborate with brilliant professionals. Trent's path may have been unconventional, but it is precisely this unique trajectory that has shaped him into the exceptional architect he is today.

When away from the office he enjoys, bird hunting, automotive repair, snow skiing, live music, and working on his horse farm.
